600 Challenge

For the month of January, my YMCA is doing a special challenge for its members…the goal: to work out 600 minutes in the month of January which is about 20 minutes a day. So far I'm at 20. It's a great reminder that even 20 minutes adds up over time…

So what would you do for your 600 minutes?
Anyone else participating in a January/New Year Challenge?

  3. I could KNIT for 600 minutes! LOL

Actually, I DO exercise for 20 minutes a day (at least). Good luck with your YMCA challenge. It sounds like a good one.

  4. Don't laugh but my big personal goal this January is to clean my stupid desk in my bedroom. And if it sounds like a 12 year old wrote it, well .. that's how I feel about it ;)

My family is a bunch of people addicted to our fitbits so we like to track our steps and active minutes a day. It's dorky, I know especially when I forget to wear mine like today! But I'll wear it to the gym later. It totally makes you notice when you haven't done that much, except hike it to the water cooler at work ...

I wish I could do a 600 minute knit club with Dee!

And that's cool that your family is involved in the Fitbit together. I heard a big part of the success is individuals trying to be better than their family/friends :)
I like the 600 minute club idea so much!
